Are you manually sending renewal reminders or updating a user's status? Automation rules remove the need to perform manual, repetitive tasks by allowing you to automate your processes and workflows.
To create a new automation rule, navigate to Settings > Certification > View Certification > Automation Rules > +Add New and complete the required fields.
- Every rule starts with the Trigger Criteria. This is the event that triggers the rule to execute. This can be the user's certification status or when a requirement has been met.
- The User Status determines which individuals the rule will be applied to based on their current certification status.
- Actions are the doers of your rule. Are you sending an email communication, updating a certification status, or removing an attribute? Several actions here can be automated.
- A Scheduled Rule will run within the number of dates from the specified Date Event.
TIP: Tasks that can be automated:
- Send Targeted Emails to Your Users
- Update a User's Certification Status and/or Certification Category
- Change User Profile Category
- Assign or Remove Attributes
- And more!
