Updating user profile information using questions on an application.
Audience
Users who regularly log into and use ROC-P can sometimes very rarely visit their own Profile, and their key information can sometimes change and not get updated in ROC-P.
Purpose
Encourage ROC-P users to update their information regularly, the functionality has been added to the Application process to have them review and update their profile information.
Adding the Profile Answer Type
The question for users to review and update their profile information can be added to any application. To add this question to an application, follow these steps:
- On the Applications listing page, click Actions > Edit from the green button
- Click on the Questions tab.
- In the Questions section, click Actions > Add New Question
- In the new question creation screen, complete the following:
- Select the section where the question should be presented.
- Under the “Answer Type” field, select Profile
- Type your question (ex. “Please review and update the following information.”)
- In the Profile Fields drop-down, select the fields you would like your user to review and update.
- Select “Yes” for Required and Active
- Click Save
This will add the profile question to your application.
